Dr. Scott

About Scott

Scott is a California native and resident of the San Francisco Bay Area. He graduated from Five Branches University of Santa Cruz and San Jose with a Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine (MTCM) and a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM).

Scott became licensed to practice acupuncture in California in 2004. He’s had a busy time in practice so far, delivering nearly 30,000 acupuncture treatments in the 8+ years he spent at Kaiser Permanente Redwood City alone.

Additionally, Scott has sought out specialized training in acupuncture for neuromuscular medicine, pain management, women’s health, trauma relief, orthopedics, sports injuries, as well as complex, chronic conditions.

Scott has nonprofit experience having worked closely with the founders of the Pantheon Foundation, a tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) religious organization. He has attended many a meeting conducted under Robert’s Rules, and has acted as an informal Secretary, keeping the minutes of meetings for the group. Over a 20-year span, Scott made significant contributions of time, effort, and cash and has earned a place of respect amongst his colleagues in these endeavors.

A Life of Learning and Praxis

Scott truly enjoys this field because it has afforded him a lifelong opportunity to learn, grow, and apply powerful healing techniques to change the lives of others.
